GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR ALL PERMANENT TATTOOS

FOR 14 DAYS FOLLOWING APPLICATION OF PERMANENT TATTOOS:

  • Do not touch the healing pigmented area without first properly washing your hands/fingers, they may have bacteria on them and create infection
  • Remove bandage or dressing after 2 to 3 hours.
  • Wash tattoo area 3 to 4 times a day with warm water and Dial antibacterial soap.
  • After 24 hours, Apply a thin layer of Lubriderm unscented lotion after every wash.
  • Restrictions of physical activities such as bathing, recreational water activities, gardening or contact with animals until area is completely healed.
  • Do not scratch or pick at the tattoo.
  • No salt water, sun light or Chlorine until TATTOO IS HEALED.
  • Do not rub or traumatize the procedure area while it is healing (pigment may be removed along with crusting tissue)
  • Use a '' total sun block'' after the procedure area has healed to prevent future fading of pigment color.
  • If you are a blood donor, you may not give blood for 1 year following your Permanent tattoo (per Red Cross).
  • If you have any questions or concerns please notify your artist immediately.
  • If you experience any itching, swelling, blistering or any other complications post-procedure, stop using any aftercare product and call your artist immediately. You may be allergic to the after care product you are using.
  • If you have excessive redness, swelling or tenderness or any red streaks going from the procedure site toward the heart, elevated temperatures, or purulent drainage from procedure site, contact your physician or medical provider. as the area may be infected.
